Welcome to Facesofnaija (facesofnaija.ng). By accessing or using our platform, mobile applications, and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Child Safety & Zero Tolerance Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE / CSAM)
Facesofnaija maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE), child endangerment, grooming, and trafficking.
Our Child Safety Standards & Commitments:
- Strict Prohibition: Any upload, generation, sharing, solicitation, or transmission of images, videos, audio, text, or links depicting or promoting child sexual abuse, exploitation, minor nudity, sexualization of minors, or predatory behavior is strictly prohibited and immediately terminated.
- Automated & Human Moderation: We employ proactive filtering, image analysis, keyword detection, and human moderation teams to identify, remove, and flag abusive content 24/7.
- Mandatory Law Enforcement Reporting: In compliance with international child protection laws and standard practices, all identified instances of CSAM/CSAE are permanently preserved for legal evidence and promptly reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement authorities.
- Account Termination & Ban: Any user found attempting to distribute, possess, or facilitate CSAE will face immediate permanent account termination, device/IP ban, and referral for criminal prosecution.
How to Report Violations:
- In-App Reporting: Use the "Report" button on any post, comment, image, message, or user profile to flag abusive content directly to our safety moderation team.
- Direct Safety Email: You can report any safety concerns or child endangerment directly to our Safety & Trust team at: safety@facesofnaija.ng or support@facesofnaija.ng. All reports are treated as highest priority and reviewed immediately.
2. User Conduct & Prohibited Content
Users must respect all laws and fellow community members. You agree not to:
- Post hate speech, harassment, violent extremism, illegal threats, or defamation.
- Impersonate individuals or organizations without authorization.
- Upload spam, malware, phishing links, or intellectual property infringements.
3. Account Security & Verification
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and verifying their email addresses. Accounts engaging in suspicious or malicious activities may be suspended.
